Cairn Collaborative is a unique group dedicated to healthy, comfortable, and responsible low-energy, low-carbon design and construction; to a triple-bottom-line business structure; to acting as responsible stewards of our Central Coast environment; and to being active community members who share our work openly with everyone - the community, future clients, and especially other local architects and builders. We are all in this together, and there is no business to be done on a dead planet. 

Creating homes and shelters is inherently, oddly, quite a destructive process. We’re committed to creating with as light a footprint on our planet, neighbors, and other humans as possible. It just so happens that in pursuing this goal, we’re able to create beautiful structures filled with natural daylight that are comfortable year-round, day-and-night, with almost no operational equipment or subsequent costs and maintenance.
